Our recent sailing on Caribbean Cruise out of New York on MSC Meraviglia brought us to Nassau, Bahamas, where we spent an unforgettable day at the iconic Atlantis Resort. The resort’s private beach was the highlight of our visit. With its soft white sands and gentle turquoise waves, we had plenty of space to run, jump, and splash as a family. It was peaceful, uncrowded, and provided the perfect backdrop for a day of relaxation and fun. Whether you're looking to sunbathe, build sandcastles, or take a refreshing dip, Atlantis' beaches offer the ideal escape from the crowds.

One of the unique attractions at Atlantis is its massive aquarium, The Dig, designed to resemble an ancient lost city. Home to over 50,000 marine animals representing more than 250 species, this aquarium is a must-visit. If you have kids who love fish, you could easily spend hours here watching colorful species swim through mesmerizing underwater tunnels. There are also interactive touch pools where children can get up close to sea creatures like starfish and stingrays.

For those interested in something different, the resort also features a Barbie exhibit, adding a touch of whimsy and nostalgia to the experience. Kids and collectors alike will appreciate the history of the famous doll and the beautifully curated displays.
