About Nice Afts!

Hi everyone! We are Dalton and Christine, the faces behind Nice Afts! We met in 2019 with a very common interest, the love for cruising! We shared mutual friends that planned a group trip on the Independence of the Seas, a 4-night cruise to Cozumel. Although we met a few times in large group settings, that cruise is what we consider our first meeting as it was the first time we really spent time together.

The Independence of the Seas made us fall in love! We shared the passion of so many things that cruising has to offer. Whether it's the elegance that came with main dining, the captivating entertainment offered at night, the water slides that brought out our youthful side, AND the bars and cocktails that brought out wild side. ;)

It was certainly the true to remember! When we disembarked, we left the ship with what we thought would be memories that would last a lifetime. What we didn’t know at the time was we just walked away from the first vacation with our future husband/wife.

Fast-forward a few years, we got married and have been enjoying cruising increasingly more ever since. Christine bought Dalton a drone for Christmas in 2021. Dalton says it’s the “best gift he’s ever received”. After a few trial runs in a parking lot, we decided to take the drone to South Pointe Park outside Port of Miami. Dalton filmed his first cruise ship, the Disney Magic, which is also the cruise line that introduced him to cruising in the first place!

After creating several more drone videos, we thought - why not elevate this cruise love we share to the next level? Cruising has been a huge part of our love story, so we decided to start documenting it along the way. We started the Nice Afts YouTube channel and Instagram where we showcase a weekly featured cruise ship and frequen short videos of all cruise lines.
